Jessica Szohr Tattoos

Celebrity tattoos always interest us, so ink was on our mind when we approached the lovely Jessica Szohr at Tracy Reese today. We spotted one obvious tat on the "Gossip Girl" star's foot, and asked "What's the meaning behind your tattoo?"

"Which one?" Szohr laughed, revealing that her extremities were decorated with more then a few.

Lea Michele Tattoos

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, actress Lea Michele, 23, reveals that she isn’t as straight-laced as the giddy character she portrays on television’s Glee: the star has nine tattoos!

Lea, who plays overachieving Rachel Berry on the hit show, even convinced series co-stars Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) and Kevin McHale (Artie) to have matching tattoos of the word “Imagine” inked on their left feet.

“I’m known to be the instigator to do some more risky stuff – so we have little tattoos on our feet now… It made a lot of sense that night.”

Her other body art includes a blue butterfly on her right foot drawn by her cousin, a butterfly on her back which she got with her mother, and a bird on her hip. Lea also has two musical notes from Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” on her left shoulder and a tattoo on her thigh in memory of her grandfather, who died in 2009.

Celebrity Tattoos

Tattoo is a well known symbol of fashion today. It is just not some body and skin modification, it is an art and the tendency of millions to express passion and desires in a non-verbal but effective way.

This is the trend which existed in past, ruling the style of present and will establish itself even in a stronger position in the future. Now, who can be better than a bunch of celebrities to represent races and describe such an exciting and powerful form of style, beauty and fashion. The interesting thing is that a large number of people find the inspiration of tattooing by watching their favorite stars having one.

Girl Tattoos - Sexy Designs Girls Love

Tattoos use to be a mark of rebellion.. now a fashion accessory. While tattoos are mostly applied to men, many girls have started to show how sexy and feminine tattoos can be.

Usual places for a man to have a tattoo is on the chest, shoulder or upper arm. Girls fashion can be some what revealing, so having a tattoo on those parts can limit a girls wardrobe if it needs to be hidden. Girls have to consider weather the tattoo will look good when wearing a bikini or wedding dress. Which means they are generally more careful, making sure that a tattoo is easily concealed in professional clothing.

Before searching for a sexy girl tattoo, deciding where it will be on the body is the first step. Popular places for girls are on the lower back, between the shoulder blades and below the belly button. These positions seem to reflect the latest fashion as they can be easily covered up or put on show. Avoid having a tattoo on the upper chest or breast. Pregnancy or late age can cause the tattoo to stretch and become ruined.

Sexy girl tattoo designs are often butterflies, flowers, shooting stars, dolphins and cute fairies. Although it's exciting getting a tattoo, time should always be taken to pick a design. Hundreds of people have rushed in and just picked a design from the tattoo parlors books, to then find they don't really like it or their friend got the exact same design the day before.

Girl Tattoos

Ever since women started getting tattoos there have been a debate over what are male tattoos and what are girl tattoos. While I’m not naive enough to think that I can resolve this debate to everyone’s satisfaction, I would like to make a few comments on girl tattoos in general. Many people consider anything that has a softer touch to it, to be a girl tattoo. These include the ever popular flower designs, birds, stars and butterflies. But, I have a real problem with this definition. You see, I have seen many of my male friends sport many of these same tattoo elements. Does it make them anymore masculine? No, so maybe we can move these out of the girl tattoo category. Another problem is that common tattoos that were popular among men, such as skulls, dragons and tigers are now being sported on women’s bodies. Does this make them girl tattoos? I really don’t think so. So, what can we consider a girl tattoo. Maybe like the image in the picture, we should consider lower back tattoos as being girly. I haven’t seen too many men with ink there. Well, hopefully that solves, to an extent, the whole debate. Or does it?
They put this tattoo into the category of girl tattoos but I can see where just about anybody might want to get a tattoo of flowers on a stem like this one. There’s certainly nothing wrong with it. And there is nothing wrong with being a guy and liking flowers. Not that I can see anyway.
This picture is kind of dark but we can still see that it appears to be a nice looking tattoo that goes up the right side of this girl’s back. A stem with pretty flowers spouting off it it as it goes. One almost expects to see a butterfly or two flying around the flowers, but you can’t always have everything.
I don’t really like calling any group of tattoos, girls tattoos because I’d like to think that every one looks at tattoos in their own way and makes up their mind to get one or not in their own way so breaking them off into girls tattoos and boys tattoos just does not seem like the right thing to do. I say just let it be everybody’s tattoos and we just leave it at that. Sounds like a deal to me.
